Gianna Alanis, PTK President, (left):

“I'm currently completing my Associates in Business and I'm the chapter President. To me, we're like a steppingstone. Whatever we do and whatever we create it is the baseline for, which our chapter will continue to grow on.”

Jack Barnhill, PTK Vice President, (middle):

“I'm a college Freshman. I am majoring in Finance and I'm the Vice President. I would agree with Gianna, I think it's a fantastic opportunity, since we're setting the precedent for future leadership teams in this chapter.”

Elisha Lee, PTK Treasurer, (right):

“I'm a dual enrollment student at Lone Star College and I'm the Treasurer of the chapter. Yes, definitely. It's a big responsibility going into these positions as the first officers.”

Welcome LSC-Online PTK Inductees for 2025

We've already grown so much, and this is only our first induction ceremony.

So, it shows how much we are already growing in the little time since we've started, it's really exciting to see how far we'll be able to go.

I'm looking forward to welcoming our fellow members and celebrating their achievements as a chapter.

In this chapter, we have a lot of accomplished and excellent members, which is super exciting, and I hope that the future officers and members will be able to do lots more events that will support and enrich the students.

Introducing some of our newest members….

Ben Talbot Coates: "Ben is a 31 -year-old father of 3 children and husband to wife Courtney. Ben is a career firefighter and has been for 7 years now, where he is currently employed as a Driver-Operator/Paramedic for a local department. In his off time, Ben enjoys training for Strongman and creative writing.

Currently Ben is a full-time student at Lone Star College where he is majoring in Biology. Afterward, Ben plans on transferring to University of North Texas and majoring in Biomedical Science before pursuing a master's degree in Physician Associate Studies."

Carah Brown, (A.A. Degree.): “I plan to transfer to a 4-year university and pursue a degree in the medical field. I would like to thank my professors and advisors. A special thanks to my mom for supporting me throughout this journey.”

Nicole Nelson (A.S Degree): "Right now I'm getting my Associate Degree in Science to eventually study environmental science with a concentration in coastal and marine resources. My overall goal is to work as an environmental educator, likely as a park interpreter.

This picture of me is from Lake Corpus Christi State Park where I volunteer; I'm pointing at a tiny spider. Volunteering is a great way to break the environmental education field and feel fulfilled while building skills!"

Camryn Maute: "My name is Camryn Maute and I am majoring in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. My main goal right now is to finish my prerequisites and start my application to the School of Health Professions at MD Anderson Cancer Center.

The first person I would like to thank is my mom for providing me with what I need to be able to take classes. I would also like to thank my grandparents for always encouraging me to keep going. believe we can all reach our goals if we focus on the future and the benefits it would provide us."
