The Power of Patterns: 2D Design Project

Our talented LSC-Online students were tasked to create a design that utilized randomization and repetition, concepts often found in design. These principles can be applied to various applications such as fabric design, wallpapers, gift wraps and more. We hope you enjoy exploring their creations.

“Coach Mania” - Blanca Ortiz, Associate of Arts

My inspiration for this piece comes from my Coach bag collection. I have an obsession with bags, especially Coach bags, so it felt fitting to create something that reflects my passion.

This image features a seamless pattern of guitars and musical notes, rendered in varying shades of red and blue. The bold, contrasting tones create a dynamic and visually striking design that celebrates music and color harmony.

Color Journeys: The Theory of Color
