One Design Three Ways: Colour Theory Project

Comic Capers: 2D Design Project

Our amazing LSC-Online students have learned how to develop ideas and create illustrations using various design techniques, linework and typography. Guided by Professor of Art Jasleen Sarai, they have created fantastic 2D comic work. We hope you enjoy checking it out!

“The forest around Town” - Nouria Soumahoro, Business Field of Study

My comic panels were inspired by the Halloween season. It takes place in an isolated town surrounded by forest. One night, the family dog sets off running into the woods, and the siblings go after it, unaware of all the scary things they will encounter.

“Killer in Costume” - Blanca Ortiz, Associate of Arts

A group of friends attends a campus Halloween party, only to discover that one of them is a killer, leading to a night of suspense and mystery as they try to uncover the culprit.

“The Fall of Us” - Jacey Dobbs, Associate of Science

The Fall of Us is a short motivational story about a leaf who is having a hard time accepting change. Eventually, he learns that change is not a bad thing.

“Isolated Signals: Lamp incident” - Kennedy Gauthreaux, Visual Communication

Eyes (the alien) is mad Rory took his lamp, and she is lucky enough that her condition takes her down before eyes did.

“Magic of the Mushroom Kingdom” - Liliana Paredon, Visual Communication

This comic follows a gang of adventurous mushrooms as they embark on a magical journey, encountering mysterious creatures and facing unexpected dangers.
