Phi Theta Kappa and LSC-Online

We believe in honoring achievement and inspiring student success - and on that note we are immensely proud to announce the Lone Star College Phi Theta Kappa chapter, Beta Omega Xi!

Phi Theta Kappa is an international honors society that celebrates your academic achievement. Earning your invitation to join is a great honor.

Being a member opens doors to conferences, a stellar professional network, top-notch career guidance, job prep tools, and scholarships. Plus, it’s a major resume booster, and you’ll get to wear a stole and cords at graduation!

Phi Theta Kappa is invite-only. If you qualify, you’ll get a special invitation from LSC-Online. Here’s what you’ll likely need:

Be enrolled with an LSC campus that’s a Phi Theta Kappa member, like LSC-Online.
Complete at least 12 hours of coursework toward an associate or bachelor’s degree, or 6 hours toward a one-year certificate.
Maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

We cannot wait to celebrate you at commencement as our first members of Phi Theta Kappa, Beta Omega Xi chapter!

This honorary organization will allow us to heavily engage students that may not know of the amazing benefits of Student Life and our activities that help them beyond the classroom.
