I chose to study with LSC-Online because I work full-time. It's convenient for me to work on my schoolwork whenever I have the chance.I selected the business field, because I've only ever worked for small businesses and their entrepreneurship drive is very contagious. My plan is to transfer to the University of Houston next semester to study Accounting and Management Information Systems. After getting my bachelor's, I hope to work in a big four company from the accounting and consulting industry, and after a few years pursue my MBA.
I'm very grateful to be president for this semester of the Investing Club. I have always been interested in investing, but never really did my research, as president I've definitely learned some professional development skills.
Our stock market challenge is held through Wall Street Survivor. It's a simulator that mirrors the real-time stock exchange, so the New York Stock Exchange, NASDAQ, and AMEX. The goal is to get as much return on your portfolio as possible. Everybody is given $10,000 of fake money; it's a great opportunity to learn about the stock market and the different societal factors that affect it."

The Investing Club is an opportunity I wouldn't pass up. We're living in a time where technology is at our fingertips, everybody can join the stock market, and we should take a moment to learn about different forms of investing. It's also a good opportunity to be involved in the campus when you're not on campus physically.
